that's a shame, i feel like all of the big name museums I've been to have really solid gift shops. i have not been to the MoMa but i went to the MoMa *shop* in hong kong (lol) and they don't just have museum merch but REALLY cool unique designed knickknacks for not crazy prices

i was very pleased when i visited the tate and they had both the funny little knickknacks (got a really sick kadinsky water bottle) AND racks full of postcards and exhibit books
