Apparently, I’m also not the first to post it. This stuff is crazy, especially because apparently this isn’t even accurate??? There’s no provision in the recently passed bill to make this true?

I get that tonight’s win by Mamdani wasn’t reliant on it but hearing the potential pathways and strategies has me way more politically excited. I loved the alliance with Lander

I’m speaking specifically about that letter from a staffer who wanted to express their grief and outrage. I think it’s totally fair for them to do that in whatever tone they want. I’m not going to police how hard someone needs to go at unfeeling ghouls when someone they know gets assassinated.

That’s a mischaracterization of their letter. They’re telling these people off in their own polite way. Is it effective? Probably not but it is a telling off not a let’s all get along. And it’s very midwestern.

The fun thing about Sioux City is that it’s so far northwest that parts of it are in South Dakota and parts of it are in Nebraska.
