Day 838382 of being mistaken as a plastic surgeon

at this rate I could have:
- renewed or resigned her privileges at the hospital (which is literally her position??)
- signed off on her intern’s surgical assessment (3 times)
- handled the confidential materials of 500+ medical applicants

this is like…the 4th time someone has mistaken me as the plastic surgeon jessica at umich (similar emails) but an HR person shared with me a folder with 155 applications from medical residents with literally every piece of confidential info you can think of 💀

god louise gluck’s poems about nature are some of my favorites- here is a particularly gorgeous one. saddened by the news of her passing today.
