In this particular instance, I believe that the narrative between Banksy and King Robbo shed a lot of light on the depth of their work and the relationships between their works and the history and culture surrounding it.

As expressed in the book, "a good art-writer traces which decisions made by an artist (or artists) seem to have proven most meaningful in the resulting artwork."

However, reading this particular section (Section 2: 3. The audience: grounding specialists and non-specialists) has taught me a lot about which subjects are the most important to discuss when writing about art.

I feel that this particular tweet relates to our reading, "How to Write about Contemporary Art", as it reminds of the section discussing writing for an audience. Sometimes, art-writers can get lost in the descriptive language. As a past creative writing student, I often get lost in this narrative.

I feel that this particular tweet pertains to the findings in, "How to Write About Contemporary Art", when considering the patterns of strong writers.

This tweets displays clear, imaginative writings with original ideas. Not only explaining the art, but also expressing deeper meaning.

Ensuring that everyone has a space within the art world and that multiple discussions concerning these spaces are occurring is vital. Without these spaces and their important discussions that come as a result, there would be no connections among different spaces and cultures.

When concerning our reading, "What is Contemporary Art?", and the "Contemporaneity as Points of Connection" section in particular, I believe that this piece represents the shift in dialogues and the new spaces within the art world for connectivity and universal discussions.

Harings work is not for the "rich", nor was it ever. Harings work is for those who love art and want to support one another. His message and mission that he leads now, even after leaving us too early, is incredible. His legacy carries on strong and will continue to do so way into the future.

Concerning our reading from "What is Contemporary Art?" and the specific section, "Take the Money and Run? Can Political and Socio-Critical Art 'Survive?'", I believe that Haring's work and mission is the perfect example of political and socio-critical art "surviving".

"Today, we are stuck in the present as it reproduces itself without leading to any future. We simply lose our time, without being able to invest it securely... However, one can also approach this wasted time more positively, as excessive time-as time that attests to our life as pure being-in-time."

I could have told myself that I was too busy or that I had to focus on school instead of seeing her show, but I wouldn't change a thing. Being able to take myself out of everyday life for a moment to see her was worth so much to me.

I was fortunate enough to see Lucy Rose live, and after following her work since 2014. It was such a unreal experience and I felt, for the time that I was watching the show, that I was suspended out of the present time.

When considering our reading, "What is Contemporary Art?", this particular tweet stood out to me and reminded me of what I read in the section titled, "Comrades of Time".

Another fun aspect of art in Bristol is that Bristol is also home to Wallace and Gromit! There's actually an event for charity called Gromit Unleashed, where an array of artists are asked to create their own rendition of Gromit - which then gets put on display throughout Bristol.
