The only reason I still have a presence on Facebook is to keep in touch with distant friends and relatives who may not be here. Bluesky isn't perfect but it certainly feels more like real engagement and community.

@altnps.bsky.social has gotten information out more quickly and accurately than any of the regular news outlets. All props to them and the other alt folks holding strong and speaking out.
