Nah same this keeps happening to me recently I get a sore throat and start feeling crappy I'm like "oh no I'm getting a cold" bit it's just been being run-down and tired and going go bed mainly fixes it 🤣 but I sleep loads so dunno wtf is my problem hahaha

He's hopefully just having a sleep and only scratched it when we cleaned it a little so maybe the less we bother it in the better until the vet can look! Keep an eye on him 😫. Hate not sorting it immediately but it is likely to be alright I hope.
