The kitties were so sleepy today, and so cuddly. This girl has leapt into my lap several times and dozed right off.

We had extended wand toy play time, built a box fort, attacked that one chair for who knows why and now it is kitty nap time. (Enjoy some purrs if you can hear it)

Peaches scratched at my leg so I petted her. Then she jumped up my legs so I picked her up and she LAID HER HEAD DOWN ON MY ARM WHILE I PETTED HER. 😻 (Kittens sleeping for maximum cuteness)

Do you have any advice for keeping cats from jumping up on the counters? They can’t be unsupervised at all when they’re on the main floor, meaning I can’t even just sit while they wander around, I have to patrol the kitchen.

The kitties had about an hour of supervised upstairs time this morning and that wore them out so we’ll have another visit after naptime. They mostly (adorably!) peeked around corners and scouted out hiding spots. Peach found a toy mouse that had been hidden somewhere by Noodle. ❤️ Pic fr last night

Here is the ornery kitten testing another door. This is not the one she opened this morning, that one has a flipping lever handle and now is barricaded. On this one the handles don’t turn, you pull with some force to open them. I don’t *think* she can get in these doors, but she’s going to try.

The kittens are here! It’s hard to get any pictures because they’re either hiding or running and chasing at full speed. They are Peach (litter name Marigold which I may still use) and Daisy. Peach is the torbie is with white chest and Daisy is the gray/brown tabby.

Moving dirt is very satisfying and very tiring. This is just the little bit I could do tonight. In a couple of days when the rain is over, I’ll finish it (the dirt pile is covered in a tarp to hopefully stay dry before I can move it)

Sarah’s graduation party is today and so far she has said things like: is the car going to stay there? And You didn’t get different plates? And I just cannot with this child. These are cute plates and if she wanted something different she should have helped me along the way. Also it’s raining.
