Oh, I do agree.
Not a life I would choose, but the irony here is worth noting: when people actually dare to exist outside the mold, they’re met with outrage instead of support. Shouldn’t we be cheering them on? Isn’t that the very promise of this country—that we’re free to live the lives we choose?

Because we’re still waiting for the epiphany. We’re waiting for a lightbulb moment. It’s not coming. No one in a position of power is going to sacrifice their comfort for ours. And yet, we wait.
