Q5: Diamond Art has exploded in the library and cloud sand. It’s really neat watching students gather and use it as a means to disconnect and socialize.

A1: I LOVE @wakelet.bsky.social for organizing and it makes collaboration with teachers a breeze. Students seem to like the ease of finding resources from the lessons taught as well. I enjoy the portfolio aspect for myself.

A1: I really like the idea of anonymity for responses and allowing for a safe way to communicate different opinions, especially on hot topic issues. There’s lots of great tools to get the conversation going and allow those to openly share as they are comfortable. #Eduskychat

@benjaminludwig.com finally sat down to read the Nov. SLJ and as a former ELA teacher I have never related more and agree that standardized testing has killed inquiry in the classroom and I hope through my time in the library I can help bring it back. The library has definitely brought back my “why”

I share a bi-weekly tech tip newsletter and love collaboration that involves using tech and making tech work for teachers and students! I definitely feel our role as a school librarian has to include ed-tech support for our colleagues and staying on top of what’s out there.
