I really underestimated (or was unaware) of the extent to which thinking about and talking about history had become part of my self identity between ages 15 and 23. I trained as a history teacher two years post graduation because I missed it so much.

A bit late to the party with this one (it got rave reviews in 2017), but I just finished Gail Honeyman’s ‘Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine’. I thought that it was absolutely beautiful.
