Additionally, as a technical DEI hire, he is actively working to dismantle protections for further disabled folks in the workplace. We call that pulling up the ladder behind you, meaning you have succeeded using the support systems you have, and then removing those support systems for others. 2/2

It's uncouth, but Abbott deserves it. He's not a bad man because of his disability. He's a bad man because he got a million dollar settlement from the accident that disabled him, and then as Governor, reformed tort so that other people couldn't get a similar settlement. 1/2

We do the best we can. Personally, I have Google Fi as my cell carrier and because of work, I can't just not use my cell. You also can't pause service for a day, so I'm doing what I can elsewhere.
