I voted for Kamala and yeah I did. I vote every year. I organize in my community. I engage in mutual aid and collaborate. What I don’t do is paint a whole fucking group of people with the same brush and then allow fucking racism to run rampant because I’m afraid. Seriously this is fucked up.

No I know it isn’t intentionally for me, but I think people forget we will also suffer in these states. Like when they say FAFO in regards to red states as a whole or say to abandon us. Like some of us are trying, a whole lot of us are. And we’re trying when the stakes are very high here.

But the entire state didn’t. Stop acting like everyone in a red state deserves to suffer. Gerrymandering and voter suppression exist, and there are kids there who can’t vote. WTF.

And HEAVY on the gerrymandered. Those states aren’t red, they’re victims of crooked politicians, unfair voting lines, voter suppression, and misinformation.

You realize that includes disabled folks, children, poor folks, people who didn’t vote that way, houseless people, Black and Brown people, LGBTQIA people? I’m in Ohio, and am about as progressive as one can be, and I don’t wish suffering and death upon folks in gerrymandered states.
