It was Real Sociedad player José Antonio de la Hoz Uranga - a staunch Basque nationalist - who came up with the idea. He’s the owner of those legs in the blue jeans below the flag! His sister Ane had sewn the flag with no idea of how iconic it would become. #RealSociedadAthletic
