As my friend David Luebke asks, what would “woke pulmonology” even look like!?! To be clear, the rhetoric of science has long been the tool of racist eugenics, patriarchy, heteronormativity, etc. but this sense that even basic scientific knowledge can be ideologically gaslit via memo feels new.
