It's a job. People (& AI generated stans too) drive engagement for social media & get paid based on eyeballs & time spent on the platform. It's important not to forget. For many influencers that is the goal of creating regular content. Always be aware of the motivation & manipulation behind posts.

Not to mention it's nearly all maga - players, owners, coaches, advertisers, etc. Love the game but can't watch anymore. 35% Latino players & nary a peep from anyone associated with the game about deportations. Only thing I've heard was Kike Hernandez with a mild statement.

When I worked for PolyGram I took Lemme to record stores around NYC for a few days. So funny. Young girls lined up for his autograph, he was drinking whiskey with milk due to his ulcers.

What I think about the Yanks… never watched them again after that repugnant meeting with Trump. Baseball is maga-ville. As long as stadiums are full the ‘not into politics’ crowd can pretend like everything is normal.
