(Not) impossible Liberal challenge: Believing Carney would be better than PP, looking at his positions now and believing the Liberals should be doing better - voicing that to your MPs and holding your government accountable rather than saying "at least he's better than the other guy" and entrenching

And what's even the benefit of doing that? To prove your online group was more right than some other one? Is it really so impossible to admit you're wrong (online) given the new information presented?

IMO a symptom of the larger online discourse with social media. Makes it a lot harder to have a nuanced and sometimes "delicate" approach to things like this (not pointing anyone out). Rush to defend and signal your online allies and a rush to attack and signal your online allies.
