This is correct, right up until he combines it with a “henceforth” then it has the full effect of law under the US Constitution
(Sarcasm, in case that’s not clear ;-)

Yea, many of them seem to think Dems worship Bill like many of them (claim) to do for Reagan. Meanwhile, we’re all like “Cool. Put him in a cell next to Trump.”

Honestly, Kat gets points for (a) knowing the right thing to do (not talk about it, then don’t) and (b) sticking to it and finally (c) walking off when it’s clear what’s going on

This has to be the funniest thing I’ve read all week. Well done

It is. She’s a great dog
October 27, 2025 at 12:35 AM
Oh yea. That dog loves her comforts 😂

I’m stealing this script. Usually I just reply with a link that describes the scam. I like yours better 🤣

LOTS of good things come from being _truly_ agile, but it (Scrum) was being WAY oversold, which IMO would only lead to disillusionment to management and product. We ended up paying for nearly all devs / PMs / managers to get "certified" and I'm not sure it ever helped 3/3

We spent more money than I like to think having Jeff Sutherland in for full days of consulting (at the time at least $10k/day IIRC). He would make (to my ears) wild promises of "twice the output in half the time" which, I'm sorry, was never going to happen (in our case anyway). 2/x

I 100% agree about the "certification" grift. I was at Constant Contact when Scrum started to be adopted. At the time, we were (I was told) one of the places trying to roll it out to a larger engineering org (in the Boston area at least). 1/x

To be super clear, I always thought (wrongly. Thank you for setting me straight) that Scrum emerged after the manifesto. The fact that it was used (IMO) to latch onto it after explains my now solid dislike and disillusionment of Scrum

Ok, now I dislike it even more

She was fully funded when I just checked 🙏, so I donated to another dog in need!
August 22, 2025 at 10:53 PM
I could almost accept that (despite it being not true) since Scrum is *rarely* (if ever?) Agile…

People say these things, I think, because it’s actually more comforting to thing Putin “has something” on Trump vs. the truth - that Trump is a rube who’s totally star struck with Putin

We had some interesting cases for sure. Also, I’ve never heard the word fentanyl more in my entire life

I served on a county superior court grand jury once a few years ago. 3 months. Proud to have done it, and I am proud of this grand jury for rejecting such stupid claims

I 100% agree on the "All Persons" part. But doesn't the Constitution set a *minimum* interval? i.e. you could have it more often. Although I'm almost certain that to do it more often would require Congressional authorization and funding. But IANAL
