Given I slipped down a ladder whilst narrowboating about four weeks ago (see earlier posts for graphic photos), I was terrified!

Just back from a narrowboating trip, a huge number of canals are either closed or the locks on supervised limited opening. But yes, generally the rain here is normal!

Enjoy. My son is out hiking in Corsica; his wife has said it’s too mountainous and has gone to a hotel for five days and will rejoin the others when their walk flattens out!

Our family favourite is Strawberry Tiramisu; no coffee & highly recommended. Recipe is quite an old cutting as you can see, I suspect 30 or 40 years old!
