Lying to Congress while effectively under oath is a very big deal. Or at least it used to be before, well, all of this.

The point is to drum up as much support as they can while it has a brief moment in the spotlight when it is released. You get a message about a new book being released on Monday - but no reviews yet, so you forget about it and don’t follow up. OR there are reviews and your interest is piqued

One of the unique things about working at the VA is how common it is to have overly effusive grateful patients, to the point of tears, for the care they receive. I would hear some vet say they would be dead without the VA on a weekly basis.

That is wonderful! Abdominal adhesions effectively limits the number of abdominal surgeries a person can undergo in their lifetime.

Please share what NIH grants were involved in this. People should know what they potentially losing with NIH cuts.
