I think we're underrating the extent to which Trump might be killing off whole sections of The Discourse for good. You won't be able to invoke "viewpoint diversity" ever again without having to reckon with this administration. One hopes, anyway.
It's hysterical that Harvard was apparently willing to consider some of the Trump administration's demands but when they saw the part about imposing "viewpoint diversity" in every department, that was the dealbreaker.
