I use that for an old ide that only works on win7. It's full offline so no telemetry no auto update ... Shared folder so that backups are possible, and programming the devices attached to the host. You can also drag n drop files to/from your host if shared folder is too much

Same here. Your VM can have a shared folder sync'ed by your Nas. And keep the guest Os offline. Helpful for old tools that done run on newer os.

Offline VM !

FPGAs are tools for pros with a steep learning curve. There are some cheap ones with free synthesis tools. Don't expect Arduino out of the box experience

You probably should look a bit more into what the licensed software performs. Try to replicate it by hand. Then understand it's value

Not bad considering the global slowness of the device.

How patient for a simple question?

Still nothing ? Time to launch your business

Tiny keyboard. Tiny screen. Not portable. While you could get much more portable laptops or much more comfortable desktops second hand so no wasted resources. But less overpriced hype for sure.

That's pretty expensive for such a small and not comfortable monitor and keyboard

Good Luck finding one

Have you worked with ultimaker before ? Or any professional printer? Most won't accept anything outside of their ecosystem.

They are just waiting for someone to make it well and then copy it while marketing they invented everything, or putting their name on it.

There are many ways to handle that - wirelessly - and none involve the manufacturer interface. That's how print farms work. If you are going to invest in this you should visit a few. Or work with slant3d or others

you think you will print more than these guys ? www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvKj...
then congratulations on your products :)

Still the best hardware. Use sd cards like most print farms do

They are not open source anymore, what makes you think they would not play the same games ?

Cost pressure will always win. Their A1 series sells well it's time to make it even a bit more cheap to produce. It will be interesting to see their catalog as it drives all the others to copy within a year

Add the price of accessories like storage, display adapters, power supply, case... And you likely already exceed it
January 13, 2025 at 12:22 AM
Usually underfill is injected from one side. So you don't need the 1mm all around. Talk to your fab, most likely the empty space visible on the top right was sufficient

Engineers don't need an Arduino. There are lots of other tools available back then and nowadays. Often better and more suited to the job.

You could not see it was printed. Stunning

Is the new ender 3 the A1 mini ? Same price. Same entry level basic specs but works really well. And same amount of them in the trash cause it was impulse purchase ?
