After the break the fifth and last #Fronteers presentation was by @dylanbeatt.ie - an amazing rundown of the Rockstar programming language. Including some live rock music!! :D - couldn't have asked for a better closing talk, well done!

Fourth #Fronteers presentation was by Rune Devuyst on the impact of our colour choices! Missed my chance at the survey to claim 'hotpink' as my fav. but duty called to draw up some sketch notes:

Third at #Fronteers, after a nice seated dinner, we heard Thorsten Jonas talk about "Designing Sustainable Digital Products".

Second at #Fronteers was @utilitybend.com with a presentation about OpenUI, teaching us about a whole bunch of new html and css keywords along the way.

First #Fronteers presentation was by @karlijnlowik.bsky.social and @erwinhofman.bsky.social, about web performance and RUM!

Analogous to if you'd try to open a Google Slides presentation from your Drive, actually seeing a presentation from someone else's Drive. That would be a pretty alarming situation, non? 😅

(Glad to be surprised in this case, of course.)

One of them is from 2018, when I started sketch noting (during Dutch Clojure Days 2018). Pretty proud of Jeroen-from-the-past for publicly showing them even though the quality was... pretty low.

Gotta start somewhere!

The amount of feedback/critique was within acceptable limits (so far). Either my glossary was "pretty good", or "so terrible critics didn't know where to begin" 😝
