He's able to confirm that 104 year old Iris Cummins, the American swimmer who was the last survivor of the 1936 Berlin Olympics, passed away last Friday.

80 years ago today, the Belgian Olympic speed skater Charles de Ligne was shot dead. In 1944, he discovered his wife was having an affair with a younger man. After throwing the man out of his house, his wife decided to kill him, luring him to their countryside hideout.
