All the talk of cosplay and costumes made me wish I still felt like I could pull off something like this. These days I feel more like I need a hermit costume. I could maybe pull off a Mira cosplay (but only when she wears the sleeping bag)

Miss K wanted to watch Austenland last night and so we did. I expected to craft my way through it and only half pay attention at most, but Jennifer Coolidge absolutely stole the show. I set the crafting aside halfway through. It was so much fun.

I'm going to have an "old person" evening. Reading in the library with something nice on the record player, followed by watching Alan Alda in something (haven't decided what yet) while knitting and then I'm going to take myself to bed early because it will be past my bedtime. That's the plan, anyway

I'm already anticipating that tomorrow will be an energy drink kind of day just based on this one graphic.

Dipdip is quite pleased with today's box. At least he waited til I got the craft supplies out before crawling in.

20 coats of paint to cover up most of the neon pink and I have hooves, hair, horn, head, and scars left! Also pictured, tiny almost-was Sasha (the saddlebags were too big and I wasn't about to redo those) and a horse that needs a mark like Black Beauty on its nose. Next round of paint tomorrow!

I may have just found Kenji and the mafia mansion. I'm not sure if my curiosity is high enough to order it, but I'll make that decision once I finish the Liveship trilogy :)

What do you mean "one last time"? The gasp I gasped at the beginning of chapter 10... I am *invested* - it may be pizza for dinner tonight because I need answers more than I feel like cooking lol

I'm reading this one today, in between completing quests on the (Minecraft) server and doing laundry.
It's fucked up. Know your triggers before going in. If you were on Efukt back in the early 00s, it's that kind of ish.

Compelling writing; just really, really, really fucked up.

Unlike anything Hendrix has done before. This is seriously his best one yet. It's been a long time since a book brought tears to my eyes, and I can't think of a time - ever - when it was a horror book that did it. Read this one.

The absolute chokehold this book has had on me today is unreal. And now I have to wait a whole year for the next one!

(Book 3 in the Haven's Rock series, which is a follow up to the Rockton series, but you really can't go wrong with anything Kelley Armstrong writes!)

Peter S. Beagle's book, The Innkeeper's Song, was re-released yesterday. This wasn't one that I'd ever heard of, but he made a post saying that it was his favorite out of all the ones he's written. I couldn't resist. It'll be here this weekend
