Spent 13 years documenting clergy sex abuse of children in conservative "Bible believing" churches. Developed PTSD, too. Now have cancer. Yet a happier person and still a follower of Jesus Christ. Life is lots better when you find the charity of God.

When I worked at #BJUPress, policy was parents & any authority had to be depicted as good & right. Last week I released Book 4 in the Bracken series, where the parents are comically wrong about everything. The Prince learns to love them anyway, yet chooses courage & integrity for himself. Felt good!
