Why? Cueller was endorsed by Pelosi to keep his seat over his primary opponent.

Downplaying stagnant wages and maxed out consumer borrowing as just another factor, but not an important one is wild. If anything people maxing out their credit cards should be a major concern over the stupid trade deficit.

They were pretty good 15 years ago. Cost cutting in the ingredients made it worse than Dominoe's which is an incredible feat to accomplish.

Only if a pack of 8 Nathan's hot dogs return to 16 oz after being shrunk to 12 oz at the supermarket. Just not the same anymore.

"Wealthiest country in the world" is too poor and car obsessed to build infrastructure that many other countries have no problem putting in place.

I want to say the fares are actually cheaper when booking in advanced. Sifting through my old old emails, tix b/t NYC and WAS was $49 at the lowest bucket fare, but now I see just booking a month in advanced I can get a tix for $32 or even as low as $24 on select trains.

Cuomo was the governor for how many years? Maybe he should've done something back then (more than raising the wage to an outdated $15/hour wage) so that working class people can take a vacation overseas. Also, Mamdani is a State Assemblymember, is he saying he shouldn't be able to afford to do so???

Of note, DC United Coach Lesesne has been fired. It's really too bad and frankly given the team's record since the Ben Olsen's days, I'm going to say it's more on the organization than Lesesne.

Nobody needed to be told this. Kamala was horrible campaigning with Liz Cheney of all people and wasting over a billion dollars on vapid shit.

I'm in the "he'll split the vote with Adams" crowd. So I don't mind.

If you were there when Cuomo ran for governor, his campaign was lazy as hell back then too. The campaign had little substance other than exuding, "I don't have to tell you anything meaningful, I'm going to win regardless." Cuomo probably thought he could do the same thing again, but too freakin' bad

Even if this was actually true, I rather have that than someone who has experience in screwing us over and who's going to be beholden to the likes of Michael Bloomberg and other corporations like DoorDash.

Safe to assume @newyorkredbulls.com can't use Belson Stadium (St. John's University) and must use RBA for this round?

The baffling thing about this outcome is how was the defense attorney unable to use the witness accounts that they were looking for a bald male and that he did have a strong alibi with his GF. Or how he was denied a lawyer when he asked for one. It's absolutely insane how they still found him guilty

It's kind of crazy how soccer is frankly still fighting for its life to be relevant in the country and RBNY decides to make it worse for the press to report on the game. I hope NYCFC's new stadium doesn't have that problem.

I think the real question comes with what happens to the teams that are relegated. Seems part of the problem with such systems is that some teams tend to start having financial problems. I can't imagine the owners would be happy with that risk in play without some assurances.

Biden has had many many months to get a deal done. Any effort on his administration at this point is simply to save face. Netanyahu is only finally getting serious about it because of Trump's demand.

I would have figured that Gotham is the last team to trade away an international roster spot. I hope the trade is worth it.

If it's $400k/year and doesn't go by the amount of games they play, then that should be less than $30k per game. Much less if they get to play in the play-offs and non-NWSL league games as well.
