Just "Build, baby, build" won't do it. We need to implement more fundamental changes to make housing affordable again.

We fully respect the First Nations' guiding principles for the Jericho Lands; however, the resultant development plan of the MST Development Corporation contradicts those principles.

The proposed 500' high-rise towers on Jericho Lands will
- Block sunshine across Jericho Park
- Obstruct the peaceful view south from that Park
- Wreck the free, public views of the ocean and the mountains from Trimble Park and other public locations
- Be a permanent eyesore and negative monument

The planned MST Development Corporation high-rise tower (with three 49-storey towers) would cast long shadows over the Park, negatively impacting fauna and flora and diminishing the park's beauty and tranquility for all users.
