Nobody said it would be easy to assemble a Ki-Jana Carter highlight reel, but I guess someone's gotta do it!

I understand how this one would be particularly painful for those involved, but from the outside a two-point OT loss is basically the ideal outcome for any single game this season!

They'd certainly be foolish to rush him back or play him at <100%. But I don't think Daniels has passed the point of benefiting from live reps; throughout the season and particularly Monday night, he was missing or turning down in-structure opportunities that you'd really like to see him hit.

A classic example that you may recall: after being sacked by Derrick Thomas a record 7 times in one game, Dave Kreig escaped Thomas for a beautiful walkoff game-winning TD (youtu.be/xmzJRZxuYfA?...)

Any chance of this getting added to FTN's StatsHub in the foreseeable future?

Is this the first time Washington has ended the week atop season-long DVOA since the metric was first published? (I know they've been there for seasons where DVOA has been calculated retroactively, but not if they've been there since, say, 1991.)

One of my favorites from his time in Washington! Not many guys in the free substitution era have seen snaps in as many positions as he did.

Darn, missed Andersen and Jones! Might've been my best shot at running the board

- Ron Jaworski
- Ken O'Brien
- Steve Beuerlein
- Dan Pastorini
- Taysom Hill

Eh, he's a cromulent runner who offers little in the passing game, with 1 year left on his deal. If he signs elsewhere afterward, it's unlikely to be a sufficiently large deal to fetch a comp pick. A sixth-rounder seems fair for that, maybe even slightly high ... but SF loves a running back!

I actually think it's pretty smart; now they have a grizzled first-year receiver to help their grizzled rookie QB adapt to the league (/j)

They needed someone on the team old enough to relate to Shough!
August 21, 2025 at 1:34 AM
- Johnny U, of course
- Lance Alworth
- Keyshawn Johnson
- Bernie Kosar
- Adam Theilen?
- Ted Ginn???
- Deebo?????

Wow, Colson Yankoff must REALLY be in the doghouse if he's behind two "players to be named later!"
August 4, 2025 at 7:32 PM
- Marcus Allen
- Franco Harris
- Edgerrin James
- Jim Brown
- Ricky Watters
- OJ Simpson
- Eric Weddle
- Jack Pardee
- Devin McCourty
- Tyrann Mathieu
- Ottis Anderson
- James Wilder

... and several I've missed! (I have a feeling I'm probably forgetting a few I could name with a little assist)
August 3, 2025 at 6:24 PM
Wow, lots here!
Walter Payton, Thurman Thomas, Herschel Walker, Andy Russell, Ricky Williams, Ray Buchanan, DeAngelo Williams, Earl Campbell, and... Dale Carter?

If you're a paid subscriber, I think there should be a "give gift" button near the top-right if you use a browser to visit a publication's homepage. (I don't think the option is there in the app.)

If you're not, press the "Subscribe" or "Upgrade" button, and there should be a Gift option.

Good choice of a pic for Sharper!

Since it's not clear from the wording of this post, it might be helpful to clarify if he's planning to practice, or if he's going from hold-out to hold-in

They're masters at finding interesting stories and presenting those stories in compelling ways, and ultimately isn't that what we're seeking in most of our entertainment?

Incredible work as usual! I did notice that on page 401 in the appendix, the tables for top-10 and bottom-10 CPOE appear to be identical.

Really hoping they go to this look (and the corresponding one for the burgundy tops) full-time for 2026!

Oof, I can't get many of these... Bob Kuchenberg, Kent Hull, Dan Koppen, Ryan Khalil, and ... yep, that's it for me
