My banner is a great piece of art I commissioned when I was the Organized Play Manager of a game store. The Unusual Suspects was for a playmat for an MTG pre-release. We did a few with movie posters themes.

Played Mysticana: Cave of Djinns today. Took a couple plays to win the solo scenario. It's a fun puzzle game.

It's a logo now! I can't wait for my first game to be published. Coming soon™ to that Kickstarter thingie. Trick-Taking with lots of mechanics I can't stand. Is that a good sales pitch?
The idea is to take things you don't normally like in games and give them a twist. It works quite well.

Got some games in yesterday. Dale of Merchants was a decent deck builder that has multiple game phases that you need to pay attention to. Had the win in my hand when another player won.
Played a first game of Rolling Tricks. Had 3 players so we used the AutoBot (It rolls out.). Needs scoring work.

Got some games in yesterday. Dale of Merchants was a decent deck builder that has multiple game phases that you need to pay attention to. Had the win in my hand when another player won.

I pitched "Trick or Bid" at Essen. I now have my first rejection letter, still gonna pitch it more. I think it's a good design with an innovative hook. I can see where it doesn't fit their line with looking at what they publish in Germany.

Burger week part 2. Lamb and Chèvre burger. Wasn't expecting this to be so good. The goat cheese mayo definitely brought the burger together. Sometimes a simple burger is all you need.

It's Portland Burger Week! I headed to the Wolf's Head Smokehouse and got the Jalapeno Popper burger. It's a good concept that was executed poorly. The burger was Jalapeno jam on one half and bacon cream cheese on the other. I'm assuming it was supposed to be an even mix.
