What irks me about new DOOM is that it’s designed for multiplayer & not singleplayer w/ short periods of exploring+insane acrobatic challenge that always leads to a melee shit show. Would love for Dark Ages to buck that trend. Been playing since my brother & I hacked in Evil Dead 2 sounds on the PC

Out of the four, I’m a huge fan of This Is Where I Leave You. Incredible cast playing a loud family, which I can relate to. As with all “coming home” movies, sad sly regret hides around every familiar corner. If it were based around a holiday, it’d be in the annual rotation for a lot of people.

I really dug the two Salem’s Lot adjacent shorts in Night Shift too. Real cool to read expansions of that world. Both are pretty dark tho. No budding romances there. 🩸
