RIP to a legend of metal, Tomas Lindberg. Slaughter of the Soul by At the Gates paved the way for a LOT of metal bands from the late 90s to early 2000s, and so many metalcore bands were heavily inspired by it to this day.

Ocean Machine, my favorite album ever released on this day 28 years ago. There's so much I can say (and have said) about it, but I'll just say that it'll always hold a special place in my heart, and it spoke to me when I needed it the most.

Thought this was interesting, but Devin Townsend's first solo album (under the SYL name), Heavy as a Really Heavy Thing is apparently 30 years old today!
It's quite impressive how he's managed to stay fairly consistent quality-wise after 30+ straight years of making music IMO.

Found this book recently, and been slowly working on getting through it. It's 30 notable anime films (outside of Studio Ghibli, mostly), and it's a fascinating look into the influence many of these movies have.
Seek this out if you're interested in finding some new movies to watch!

Finished the Skypiea arc in One Piece tonight. It was pretty great, and I loved it. ...Also, I may have just wanted an excuse to post this pretty funny reaction face that came from this arc.
(I can't put a spoiler label on it, unfortunately, but still...)

So, finished the first draft of Corrosion tonight, and it was very rough to get through, so apologies for waiting so long to get it done.
Will have to edit and change some stuff, add necessary TW's (because it's very dark), but I still feel proud of it, and I hope you all can enjoy it, too!
