Citizen, student, nerd, ‘cheeky bugger’, writer of letters, otherwise just a guy. Views mine, not of my employer.
Happy Australian National Flag Day.

If it’s anything like ‘Pheasants Nest’, we’re in a real treat.

Achievements unlocked this week:

1) Passed my Army Cadet Adult Leadership Development Course Grade 1 Mod 2;

2) Was the subject of a trivia question at said course (I overused ‘m’kay’ during the week - hence my new profile pic); and

3) Made some new friends whom I will miss.

I forgot BlueSky existed. It’s been a busy week at the Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference in Sydney.

Today, we do not celebrate war, but we commemorate it. The freedoms we enjoy today are because of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, as well as those who have served and who continue to serve. Lest we Forget.

From yesterday: That moment when you’re part of an academic procession but still want to show support for the Swannies.

As a result of a newspaper appearance (‘The Saturday Telegraph’, 28 October 2023), I’m tempted to get business cards made. ‘Jeremy Travers, Reschs model.’
