Trump sees an opportunity to grease his own palms again. Persuade the BBC to settle and the suspension will be lifted

Probably true since Trump will pardon anyone that kisses the ring

Seems to me that embittered racist white women are over-represented on talk radio but I do as Sarah Pochin suggests and switch off

The BBC factually writes that the East Wing was constructed in 1902 and then quotes Trump as saying that it’s needed renovation for more than 150 years. And yet nothing to point out this is factually untrue. Journalism is truly dead

It’s the Jubilee Line (can just see the sign). But the fact that most the people in the shot do appear to be tourists either coming from or going to an airport is a real facepalm

“I told you so” is getting boring now. It doesn’t fix the damage done

I lasted 12 minutes. What an insufferable human being. Were you in the same room? I would have had trouble not walking out

Congratluations. Although with Alison Pearson's name there, it's a bit like being nominated for a Economist of the Year and realizing you're competing against Liz Truss

Someone should ask him if he believes we should give free cigarettes out to schoolchildren because, you know, “science evolves”

The problem with Tice is he hasn't learnt Farage's trick of denying everything. Farage would deny what he said yesterday, scream fake news and claim the media was out to get him. Tice's mistake is he tries to address what Farage said on the premise he actually said it. Then gets tied in knots

Nigel Farage is claiming to Congress that the UK gov deliberately withheld details of the Southport attacker from the public.

This is dangerous and it’s false. The attacker was under 18, and so a court had to give express permission to release his name in exceptional circumstances, which it did.

Welll the last 20 years have been great but it’s time to tell the kids we are moving back to the UK

They should give it to USAID. And get Rubio to accept it on their behalf

Seriously I found out today that evangelicals believe it’s fine to beat a child with a cane because it says so in the bible

Enjoyed every episode of this podcast so far but this one was a disappointment. Miranda acknowledged she wasn't a fan so I could understand her making mistakes re. character set-ups, story arcs, etc. But her guest didn't correct her and really didn't add anything. Could she be any less informed?

It’s not a mistake. His supporters are too stupid to know the UK is no longer in the EU (they probably think Brexit is a breakfast cereal). So as far as they’re concerned, another MAGA victory
