Sending love and solidarity to all my professional friends and acquaintances. Not sharing this for sympathy or money (unless you want to give me money...?) but to just be transparent and open. Easy to just share the successes and wins but I think sharing the hard shit bits matters too.

Feeling that. Aside from my ACW grant (which I'm incredibly grateful for considering the state of funding currently) that's been pretty much every response I've had this year. Good in some ways, validating really, but it is also super frustrating when opportunities are thin on the ground.
