Hey Scott, love the charts. Quick question — how are these xy plots different than the weighted xg/g ones you use as well? Bc in those Arsenal, Chelsea, City are clearly the front three but here Liverpool are higher than Chelsea. Just trying to understand the differences + how they're calculated

That's fair. Just thought that had the game carried on 11v11 they'd be happy with the transitional moments they were able to create, and we also pretty much didn't threaten at all. But yes overblown reactions we were fine going away to 2nd in the league without 4 starters.

Looked to me that when it was 11v11 we really really struggled to string together passes at all while Chelsea got into a few transitional moments that favored them. Did you see something different because the first 35 minutes was almost exclusively this, no?

Is 0.6 to 0.4 really warranting of "strong first half" vs "dropped off in the second"? I love all of your work by the way, but honestly I think some of the coloring and non-consistent x-axes does these charts a disservice sometimes.
