Im talking about observable data. You're talking like I'm supposed to be a census taker to discuss this. You talk in circles

Bro the only data I have is the current election data. I don't have curves and shit. You are being so annoying. I'm going back to Twitter

Ok so none of the things I mentioned before? Why didn't you just say that before? It was a simple question

That's side stepping the question though. Trump Vs Harris is the scenario

You haven't asked me for any data? I sent the picture of exit polls of this election. Which show Gen X being the only gen that votes over 50% Trump.

You say every gen moves right, I say yes that's true. But your generation moved further. I'm too dumb to understand what youre trying to get at

Ah ok I misunderstood you. I didn't realize you meant in other elections. I thought you meant like write ins or something. My b

What's the difference between voting for Trump, and voting for someone who has no chance to win who's just pulling a vote away from the Dems?

I get what you're saying, but there isn't really a difference functionally.

Nobody said you didn't move to the right. People move to the right as they get older and richer, but gen X moved much quicker and farther than previous gens. Otherwise boomers and silent would have voted more right than gen x, which they didn't.

There's a specific issue with gen x

This isnt a "gotcha", I've never really thought about it. I never considered voting trump, but if the other side was going to ban one of these I'd think about it.
November 23, 2024 at 7:30 AM
What freedom being outlawed would it take for you to vote the other side?

If Dems pledged to ban all casinos? alcohol? Movie theaters? Where the line?

Nowhere does it mention your 20s. Y'all were definitely more liberal then. What happened?

I've heard nothing but good things about him from people who know/have met him. I'm involved in the poker world and know a bunch of people who know him
November 23, 2024 at 7:12 AM
But that's not what that says. It says gen X is notably conservative. Which is just currently true. Gen X was the only age group that voted >50% for trump this month.

He's just a bit of a weird dude. I don't know the examples you're talking about, but I respect your opinion, I just give him a little more grace than I give some people lol. Right or wrong.

It was really annoying to see people on the Dem side say he was bought by Peter thiel until his predictions got basically dead even, then they just started ad hominems or stopped talking about him. He's by far the best forecaster of our time. People just get so tribal
