Same here! This was the cover of the copy owned by one of my middle school teachers.

There were some threads that seemed to be deliberately seeded for the purpose of leaving them unresolved. It attempted to justify this by essentially saying that real life doesn't neatly end with all the loose threads tied up. I don't think that was quite enough. Ultimately, I give it 3.25 stars.
