In my experience our heat pump floor is more dusty. Just anecdotal but made me question if I was doing something wrong. Thats it. Just trying to learn.

I never said I don't care about air quality. I'm trying to learn and I may be missing something. We have a heat pump (looks like a typical ac compressor) that is tied into an air handler. I don't know if that is the typical setup.

Filters work. My entire HVAC system has filters. My second floor is a heat pump and I notice MORE dust. I attribute this to running more frequently and for longer durations than my first floor (gas furnace). I'm not trying to be argumentative. You said you love heat pumps and have less dust.

And I have radiant heated floors in my basement. Zero dust, no air moving around.

I didn't ask about air quality. I asked hot a heat pump with a blower is any different than a furnace with a blower in terms of dust?

Yes. My gas furnace has a filter and does the same thing. This is not unique to heat pumps.

Yes, my airhandler has filters. Pretty standard for most systems.
