We worked on one of these a few years ago. Retained and eluted nicely on C18 BEH. The trick was getting enough ETD+HCD-based fragmentation with MSn to unambiguously differentiate the ring residues from the tail since the tail fragments as you’d expect. Not yet published. 🤠

Bruker was great about a quick replacement but we’ll be checking all new emitters prior to installation here on out. It never saw any flow. This photo was fresh out of the box. It must have flown to close to the sun during transit. Hopefully it was a fluke.

15% of the markup or 15% of the total project revenue? Either way - no thanks. I haven’t heard of other institutions doing this. I suppose it’s marginally better than being completely discouraged from serving any external users at all.

Who does what now? If externals are paying at-cost rate (bare minimum) or higher (more appropriate), how do they justify a 15% cut?

ABRF has a message board for all things core-related that spans many disciplines/techniques. It’s not as concise as a slack channel but that usually means it’s more detailed and therefore generally more helpful.
