Are there examples of passing a law that says you can't pass any laws about something for ten years where that worked? Like. Can you even do that?

I'm not talking about Constitutions, which are generally what we call the documents that are the "laws about how the laws may works" but rather just […]

Recent updates to the Pluslife webapp (praise to the https://virus.sucks crew!) allow the specification of a webhook to receive realtime test data. I've implemented a simple system to show graphs of in-progress and completed tests that can be run behind a more general webserver. It's a big […]

yes i did generate a netlist for kicad, and then parse the imported pcb file to modify the switch positions according to the openscad model. why do you ask? #keyboards #halfstupidhobbies

Second print. Case is nice and sturdy now but PCB still doesn't fit.

First test prints. Case fit together but far too thin, and needs a fit adjustment before it'll fit the PCB.

Thanks, it's good to be back!

It turns out that solo implementing an ActivityPub server and web UI as a part-time side project was maaaaybe not the smartest thing I have ever done, but... that die has been cast.

a little bit ago i started trying to catch up on stuff here. one of the first things i came across was @ceejbot@toot.cat talking about building a #corne keyboard kit. huh, i haven't heard of that before, i wonder what that is.

now, as i wait for my first corne keyboard to arrive, i have spent […]

I watched Inception today for the first time since it came out. I'd forgotten that it featured (at least) two items designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh! One of them was this lamp, which I may have spent some time today modeling in OpenSCAD in preparation for making one for the house.

Turning this thing on again, tap tap tap. Hi! I broke my UI but I think it's fixed-ish again now.

any of y'all know how to get #orcaslicer to NOT generate support that doesn't touch the build plate when it's inside a support enforcer block? been banging my head against this (which is a #shakuhachi of course)

I'm looking at some #pluslife results that aren't like any I've seen before. It read as negative but the scarily red item #6 is exhibiting new-to-me motion that seems like it might be concerning. Look familiar to anyone? (I also have the .json data if that might be useful.) #virussucks

Guess what? Only when my #activitypub server started receiving higher volumes of Notes did I notice that the .conversation field is often null. Why is this a problem? Because this is when I implemented threaded views which use the conversation values as a selection criterion. So, now I know […]

I'm looking for an online seller to sell (and send) me some Taiwanese-made soy sauce here in Melbourne. Does anyone know of someone who does that? (I've already checked the actual physical shops that are nearby; I need some place online.) #taiwan
