Here's the trick though - Waymo will actually stop for pedestrians. They're also quite good at recognizing bikes. (I live in mpls but spend a good amount of time in SF).

MN drivers will drive faster, honk at you and flip you off.

Given that cars exist, I prefer that version.

Counterpoint: waymos are cool as hell and extremely safe and well tested? (In SF. I still can’t imagine we’re within 30 years of autonomous handling winter. Could run for half the year though)

Truly the mystery of our time ;)

Gosh that graph makes me wonder what could possibly make walking and biking so dangerous

Hard to square that with the amount of watering (basically 0) that I’ve had to do this year in the garden compared to last year. Maybe how it’s fallen not just total amount?

I do 311 and then in 3 hours when someone swings by they let me know the obstruction is gone.

I appreciate the response and I am genuinely curious. Sorry if this is terribly naive - a previously unpaid entity is now being paid. Where did that money used to go?

Presumably this value was being captured by universities previously and now it’s being distributed to players?

Yo this happened to me in October. Terrible pain lying down. Turns out multiple PE at 39. Still no explanation.

Some urban stay at home yes, but this has to dispel the myth of turnout in and of itself as a goal for progressives right? Turnout was up. Dems just weren’t compelling.

Agreed on both points!

I live two blocks away. El Sazon is fantastic but the price point does put me off going terribly often as a lunch option. For lunch n that neighborhood you’re hoping for retirees and wfh people? Not sure what you’re going to get which is a bummer as it’s great to have the option so close!
