So tired from a wonderful day at the PA Renn Faire, but today's ToC reveal is "The Sheriff and the Samurai," A story partially inspired by the film Bunraku, which is a campy, classic. A Mythos of Monsters and Madness out on September 3rd.

The Threshold is the longest work in A Mythos of Monsters and Madness. It's novelette length and was originally published in pieces. This will be the first time it's collected in one spot.

Less than a week until A Mythos of Monsters and Madness is released. Today's Table of Contents Reveal is "Seven Entries in the Midnight Path." A therapist has her patient journal for seven days, and the results are disastrous. Crowley was a big inspiration for elements of the story.

Today's Table of Contents reveal for A Mythos of Monsters and Madness is "The Abyss Within," which appeared on the outstanding @thenosleeppodcast.bsky.social and was inspired by House of Leaves. In it, an autopsy reveals a staircase to a dark underworld.

Anyone have any horror related fun to relay? I played The Dark Quarter last week, which is a board game with a choose your own adventure vibe set in a spooky, pulpy version of 1980s New Orleans. I played a vampire with a heart of gold who won't hesitate to kick ass.
