Boycotting these non-news events is a capital idea. It's well-known that pressers contain no news that can't be covered by pool reports. Old-school journos act as if if's sme kind of prestige gig. Their hidebound editors agree. 1/2

In addition to the accurate comparison to Japanese and Jewish death camps, the concept also echos a "progressive" effort in American prisons, where convicts were sent to raise horses & veggies in upstate NY, This was "enlightened" thinking that presaged Kennedy's racist scam.
