And this past Saturday was the debut performance of latest iteration of one my bands with our new singer/guitarist Greg. Played in Fitchburg which is one of the three sizable towns next to the one I grew up in. My nephew came to see us and had some nice things to say about us. Love this kid!

Oh snap! I forgot to update with some great news about the squirrel pip I saved! So the first couple of screenshots are from the day after. The second two are from tonight. I’m so happy the little guy is thriving and is a helper!

Yesterday I hopefully saved a little friend I met while I was on my walk with our pups. I had left the little guy alone for a momma to retrieve him to no avail. Took him in, kept him safe in a box, and brought him to a rehabber in Arlington last night. Hope to have an update soon!

Hiked as far as I could on a late afternoon Crane Beach pass to both be as far away as possible from the crowds & also have time to lay out on a towel & take a couple quick, invigorating cold dips. It was an almost perfect day (Stacy would have made it so). Much needed break from news/web/soc media.

Been drumming for about 45 years now and still the most stupid simple yet hardest thing to play? Going through the exercises in Stick Control at fast speeds either leading with my weaker hand or switching up the sticking pattern with multiple bounces from the weaker hand. My left hand of crapness!
