Oh of course, short term housing is a necessary part of that equation.
I overgeneralized and doing so fell into the same trap a lot of people do. That all homeless are the chronically homeless, which just isn't the case. Most are just people who have stumbled and may need a hand up.

What if, and hear me out here, we gave the homeless homes? Boom, homeless crisis solved! Seriously, a housing first approach is the only way forward. People need to be housed and fed for before you can even begin to diagnose and treat any other underlying conditions.

Back in my day you had to earn the right to play dps, you didn't just start there. Walk up to the GM, look them in the eyes, give them a firm handshake and demand to be not only the party healer, but also the note taker. You will work your way up the table and be casting fireball in no time.

I don't get this. If I can ever afford to retire I am living like a teenager on summer vacation. We are going back to 8-12 hour DnD marathons and playing video games all day, not complaining about zoning laws and kids wearing hoodies with skate boards.

75% of my city council meetings are scheduled on weekdays during normal business hours. I feel like this is intentional.

Not just build more homes, build more affordable homes. 2 bedroom starter houses.

But a lot of this is local zoning laws and lot size restrictions. If the smallest lot size is 1/4 acre it doesn't make economic sense as a developer to build a 1200 sq/ft home on that. Better off building 2400+
