They can vote to continue ACA subsidies before there is any talk or reopening the government. I have friends and family whose lives will be at risk if they cannot afford their healthcare. Don't trust Republicans

It's very difficult when the people supposed to represent us keep snatching defeat from the jaws of victory by refusing to hold strong and actually force some kind of concession from Republicans because how delulu do they have to be to believe that Republicans will do a vote later.

Plus the whole having an ethnic group of people fenced into a geographic area and having their movement restricted seems an awful lot like something I wasn't supposed to forget about

I don't deny Hamas is a terrorist organization. But murdering innocent Palestinians is not an appropriate response to terrorism and if Israel doesn't have enough intelligence to take out just the people responsible for attacks then they don't have enough intelligence for military action

Hey, Jewish person who isn't freaking out here. Guess what, none of my relatives are freaking out either because disapproving of Israel's behavior regarding Gaza isn't antisemitism, just like disapproving of the current administration in the US isn't anti American. Hope that helps.

I would be fine with a Muslim president too as long as they understand their beliefs are their beliefs and nothing to make laws about. Something a lot of Christians don't seem to get.
