It’s important to remember those trans people we have lost to violence. This is annual story we do each year for Transgender Day of Remembrance. Not only do we add the individuals from the current year we try to follow up on the cold cases as well to see if there’s been any movement.
FEATURE: Since 2015, at least 32 trans people have been killed in Florida. As we honor Transgender Awareness Week, OutSFL investigates these tragedies, remembers lives lost, and tracks progress in solving cases.
