A very very small minority represents the Mexican opposition. But what’s worse for them is that they post the most unpopular shit you can think of, and still think they are being based. The fact is this government popularity is unmatched. They are foreigners in their own constituency. It’s pathetic.

There have been a lot of times where I feel like we need to have honest discussions on the left about what has worked and what hasn’t, share observations without judgement, but it feels like there isn’t much space for it. I think it’s holding us back.

The taco stand next to my house in Mexico City has 7 people standing. All of them American, non of them can say one word in Spanish. And they expect the taquero to explain to them what part of the cow is the meet from. They seem to be offended bc the man can’t understand them. Ojalá les cobre X2
