Let's not forget the fact that a right-wing blogger's demonstrably inaccurate "reporting" on fraud in Minnesota has been used by this administration to justify ICE's lawless occupation of Minneapolis and other parts of Minnesota. These right-wing grifters aren't just dumb, they are dangerous.

I'm glad that some of you have come around, but we need you to recognize that none of these policy objectives are new. The GOP has been on this trajectory since Reagan, whom many of you proudly supported. We need you to understand that his policies led us here, so that we don't repeat our mistakes.

You are 100% correct. I cancelled my Hulu and Disney+ subscriptions and am going to keep working through the list of services to cancel. Probably going to finally delete all of my Meta accounts and TikTok too.

If a "moderate" Republican ever won again, would you disappear and go back to how things were or do you now see how the very policies and rhetoric espoused by the people you previously supported slowly corrodes democracy? Corporations are NOT people and unfettered capitalism is destructive.

We did not arrive here by accident. The Republican Party, especially Reagan and beyond, has been unyielding in passing policies that have led us to the staggering income inequality, ignorance/lack of education, attack on fundamental rights, bigotry and fascism we see in America today.

@lincolnproject.us While I appreciate your takes, do you recognize now how so-called "moderate" Republicans (who you previously proudly supported) started weakening our democratic institutions/norms decades ago in favor of industry (and used bigotry to win if convenient), leading us to Trump?
