I didnt realise that, given it was used so often this evening, I had presumed he'd requested to be called by that. I hope he's a little more unabashed with people and ask them to just use his forename in future even on TV. Roll on 4th July 😊

We all should be able to celebrate fantastic things we've done, I'm just aware that some proper will feel isolated by that title and make them feel he's just "one of them" whoever them are.
